Dr. Gyanindra Kumar Pradhan holds Ph.D in Mining Engineering from VNIT, India. Recipient of ‘National Geoscience Award’ for the year 2012, National Design Award instituted by the Institution of Engineers (India).Served Indian Mining Industry till 2023. Presently he is working Professor of Mining Engineering & Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Technology at AKS University, Satna, India. Travelled widely and authored five books on Mining & Blasting &150 scientific and technical papers. Trained in Japan on Energy Savings & Conservation. He is also in the editorial team of the Indian Mining &Engineering Journal, published since 1961 from India. His area of interest has been rock fragmentation, mechanical cutting in surface mining, energy conservation in Mines.
