Dr Deependra Singh is  the Former Chairman and Managing Director of IREL (India) Limited, (formerly Indian Rare Earths Limited) a Central Public Sector Undertaking, under Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India. He has rich and varied experience spanning over more than 3 decades in the field of Strategic Corporate Planning, R & D, Project Management, Production Planning & Control, Quality Control & Quality Management System, Human Resource Management, Skill Development & Industrial Training.

Sri Deependra Singh holds a M.Tech degree in Industrial Design and MBA in Marketing Management and has created an ecosystem for the transfer of leading edge research into practical application of technology and knowledge in the field of value addition of heavy minerals. His thorough knowledge of production, technology, innovative vision of industrial challenges led him to develop best practices and guidelines for the implementation of technology and socially enabled changes in heavy mineral mining industries of India.
