Dr. Dhrubajyoti is the national application specialist in X-ray fluorescence Spectrometry for Malvern Panalytical in India. He has experienced 30 years in industrial and academic research, offering expertise in X-ray fluorescence spectrometry (XRF) and other analytical tools. Proven track record in problem-solving for diverse industries, including mining and minerals, cement, steel, metallurgy, glass and ceramics, refractory, RoHS, oils and petroleum, polymers, battery materials, paints & pigments, air and soil pollution, food, pharma, and many more. In his role, he is frequently involved in applications expertise support, training, and commissioning of XRF and related fusion sample preparation instrument. He also provides training, presentations, and demonstrations at customer sites, laboratory, at exhibitions, workshops, conference, and webinars.

In Academia he was a Research Professor and Korean Research Fellow (KRF) in the Aerosol Micro-analysis laboratory at Inha University, Incheon, South Korea, and Post-doctoral fellow at Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (SINP), Kolkata, India where he also completed his PhD. At Inha University, South Korea, he was involved with single particle characterization of atmospheric aerosols and multiphase studies. He has peer reviewed publications and book chapter with reputed publishers like ACS, EGU, Elsevier, Wiley, Springer, etc. His primary role in developing in-house XRF set-ups as an academic researcher at SINP provides him with in-depth knowledge of the technology besides applications.
