Chittaranjan Rege is the current Head of Base Metals at the Multi Commodity Exchange of India. Prior to this, he served as Vice President - PKMT at the same company from December 2006 to September 2016. Before that, he was Manager - Risk Management at Hindalco Industries Limited from May 2004 to December 2006.

Rege started his career at Mecklai Financial Services Private Limited as Accounts Manager in July 1998 before moving to EY as Consultant in July 2003.

Chittaranjan Rege has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from Pune University and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from BSSS College, Habibganj, Bhopal.
