DEMAND FOR CRITICAL MINERALS, MINING & PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY IS SET TO GROW SIGNIFICANTLY — WHAT DOES INDIA’S RISING POSITION IN THE VALUE CHAIN MEAN FOR GLOBAL SUPPLY, INVESTMENT AND INDUSTRIAL STRATEGY?

The Mining Critical Minerals & Clean Energy India Conference & Exhibition is India’s premier international forum for critical minerals, commodities, investmentclean energy and low‑carbon technologies show, bringing together the entire mineral resources value chain to Mumbai.

As India advances toward its net‑zero target for 2070, demand for critical minerals such as lithium, nickel, cobalt, copper, graphite and rare earth elements is projected to rise sharply. With limited domestic reserves and constrained mining capacity, India is prioritising strategic stockpiling to ensure uninterrupted access to essential minerals while supporting long‑term industrial and economic growth.

The National Critical Mineral Mission (NCMM) outlines India’s strategy to secure a sustainable, long‑term supply of critical minerals and strengthen value chains across exploration, mining, beneficiation, processing and recycling. Backed by a budget exceeding ₹34,000 crores (USD 4 billion), the Government of India aims to build a globally competitive and resilient critical minerals ecosystem — from exploration to processing and recovery — ensuring India’s self‑reliance amid rising global demand and geopolitical supply risks.

This landmark event highlights the pivotal role of state governments in advancing India’s critical mineral processing capabilities. As key implementing agencies, states drive infrastructure development, streamline regulatory frameworks and foster industrial ecosystems essential for scaling mineral processing and clean‑energy manufacturing.

We expect 500+ senior‑level executives from 20+ countries, including governments, mining companies, investors, energy firms, technology providers, banks, industry associations and global stakeholders — all participating in two days of partnering, networking, business matching, and strategic dialogue.

Join us at India's most influential mining & critical minerals platform, featuring a strategic agenda, international exhibition floor, and a 1‑2‑1 meeting programme designed to unlock new partnerships, investment opportunities and cross‑industry collaboration in Mumbai.
